Live frontman, solo project!
Ed Kowalczyk is of course that mega-charismatic singer from America's rather legendary Live. The rather essential 'anthem' rock-band that set the likes of Werchter, and other great stages worldwide, alight at the time.
It would seem he's going solo, since 2009 and CD 'Alive', and work is now completed on EP 'The Garden'. Apparently Ed Kowalczyk is heading out the road under the title 'I Alone acoustic' too.
With a couple of solo surprises on the repertoire, but also the classic hits and other worthy songs to sing along to: 'Lightning Crashes, I Alone, Selling The Drama, All Over You, The Dolphin's Cry, Heaven And More...!'
Support-act will finally, after much searching of the cosmos, be: Astronaute, alias Myrthe Luyten with homebase in the Leuven area. She does (as you can also hear and see in an AB session) ‘acoustic sounds, strange rattling and many flights of fancy.’ But she casually explains all that in this video:
