Eagulls’ rather gross video clip for single ‘Nerve Endings’ (filming the rotting process of a pig's brain as the ‘story’ and putting up with a police raid after a concerned passer-by happened to see the sight!) and a sharp but hilariously written open letter (in which they complained about the unprecedented influx of beach- & hipster bands) were what brought them into the spotlight in Britain… Their impressive head-butt of a debut did the rest.
