2 duos present adventurous new work
'On a Tuesday and a Wednesday' (out on Blickwinkel ) is the first collaboration between Pierre Bastien and Casper Van De Velde. The album is a creation of a 2-day residency at Werkplaats Walter (Brussels), at the label's invitation. In their improvised sessions, they soon found a way to fuse Bastien's renowned mechanical sound sculptures with percussionist Casper Van De Velde's playful and detailed style. The result is a mix of intricate rhythms and organic music that flows effortlessly between the intimate and the expansive.
