The famous Congolese artist was born in Lubumbashi in 1996. She moved to South Africa with her family at the age of 9. During her childhood, she discovered gospel music and began singing in the choir of the Jésus le roc church. She launched her musical career at the age of 14.

In 2015, she released an EP entitled "Law Breaker". The following year she recorded her debut album "Overflow" and two years later her second album "Call Me Favor".

In 2021 she signed an ambassadorship contract with the Maajabu Gospel production company, where she appeared as a member of the jury in the Maajabu Talent Christian competition. The song "Pamoja" and the single "Je sais" launched during this adventure were a huge success in the French-speaking world.

After various concerts around the world, Deborah Lukalu performed in Belgium for the first time.

Her latest album, Trust in the storm, released in Johannesburg in 2023, has already racked up thousands of views on YouTube.
