A new chapter in refined beauty
Ever since their debut "Roads to Judah" in 2011 and certainly their breakthrough album "Sunbather" in 2013, Deafheaven has been floating between 2 worlds; that of dreamy shoegaze and the underworld of dark black metal. Few bands managed to reconcile these 2 as beautifully as Deafheaven, but on their 5th record "Infinite Granite" they take a new path and resolutely go for one sound, that of the lush soundscapes and dreamy psychedelics. Â
