This multi-talented lady from Brooklyn is, aside from being an excellent singer-songwriter, also a studio technician and producer. Several years ago she worked in the personal studio of Philip Glass and made recordings with the likes of Josh Ritter (her ex), Justin Townes Earl and Wild Oldham.
Earlier this year she released her 5th album, Bluebird. An intimate ‘break-up’ album full of wonderful songs, on which she once again lets us hear that she is a master in the art of songwriting and that to compare her to Joni Mitchell, Natalie Merchant or Shawn Colvin is entirely correct.

Basically, the ideal artiest to have come do her thing in the intimate surroundings of Huis23.
