The barely 28-year-old German producer already has a very impressive resume. Aside from his remixes for the likes of Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Oliver Koletzki or Max Cooper, and his releases via Ninja Tune and Innervisions, in 2013 he released the fantastic debut album ‘Times’. This year saw the arrival of successor 'DCXXXIX A.C.'. His second longplayer is a very personal album with a more ambient sound.

David August played a memorable set for Boiler Room a few years ago and Resident Advisor has named him as one of the best electronic live acts. In his live sets, he surfs from a dark, melancholy sound to hyperactive beats.
