Vintage indierock singer-songwriter embedded in the '60's
Admittance is free of charge according to the principle of ‘first come, first served.’
What? On his 2017 EP ‘Alien Sunset’, released on Jagjaguwar, Cut Worms (nom de plume of Brooklyn resident Max Clark) deals in lo-fi indie-rock that is drenched in the vintage 60’s sound we know from The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly or Harry Nilsson.
Before Cut Worms tours later this year with a full band, Max will come to present his songs solo in AB Salon. In May 2018 there will be a full album that was produced by Joanthan Rado of Foxygen. A not-to-be-missed concert by a unique artist.

‘Clarke’s songs as Cut Worms are filled with homespun charm and vintage patina.’ - Pitchfork‘Boasting a gift for such unabashedly pretty melodies and haunting words, it should come as little surprise then that Alien Sunset was released on the vaunted indie label Jagjaguwar (home to Angel Olson, Moses Sumney, and Sharon Van Etten as well).’ - The KEXP blog
