“The rave prophets, the uncrowned monarchs of the feel-good party” was to be read in De Morgen when our favourite dubstep shamans Crystal Fighters swept through the AB Box sirocco-style. Their ‘mestizo’ (Spanish term for mixing various cultures and styles) of folktronica, punk, funk and dubstep in harmony with exotic rhythms, traditional Basque folk instruments and bloated beats blew the audience's – goat's wool - socks off.

Following a few single releases on dance label Kitsuné, this colourful company pulled their extremely danceable, original debut (with distribution via Pias) out of their poncho in ’10. A load of hits - ‘Swallow’, ‘At Home’, ‘Follow’ and ‘Plage’ – later this cheerful bunch decided to dive into the studio again for the sequel to success story ‘Star Of Love’.

The infectious ‘Love Is All I Got’, a collaboration with Feed Me, that was recently released upon the 'net, certainly has us hoping for the best. We at AB, as lovers of the better parties, are really looking forward to it.

Late Night Lotto Vibes

Party people, listen up! AB and Lotto are joining forces to party hard 5 times a year in the AB Club after a main hall show under the Late Night Lotto Vibes flag. The series kicks off after the Crystal Fighters concert on Wednesday May 22 with a Crystal Fighters DJ-set in honour of the release of their new album Cave Rave which will be in stores in May 27. Ticket holders of the Crystal Fighters concert can get in for free, others can buy tickets for 6 euro (5 euro +1 euro mobility contribution). Tickets only in presale!
