Brussels-based, Limburg-Tatar artist CHIBI ICHIGO (Japanese for ‘little strawberry’), released her second album at the end of January: NA HALF 1. For it, she again worked with Umi Defoort (UM!), as well as Wieger Hoogendorp (Goldband) and Sophie Straat for the track Energie.

After her appearance in De Slimste Mens and performances at Into The Great Wide Open, Pukkelpop, Werchter and Dour, CHIBI ICHIGO – as member of the queer Community – is also ready to burst onto the electro scene with beats, dancers and solid synths. Everything here revolves around safety in self-love. A message of self-discovery and inner stability for a world that is constantly changing and has you longing for authentic connections.
