Four-member, British, metal band Bullet For My Valentine is set to pack a punch with their new studio album ‘Fever’. On it, twin guitar-lines (typical for the likes of Iron Maiden) once again form the basis for their neo-classical metal. Just as their debut 'The Poison' and successor ‘Scream Aim Fire’, ‘Fever’ is an exciting collection of biting riffs, exciting guitar solos and good sing-along refrains.
As special guest, BFMV take their equally Welsh friends from Funeral For A Friend along with them. With 4 albums to their name already, the band is currently hanging out in the studio for a new album that should see the light of day before the end of the year. The five-member band cites post-hardcore and screamo acts like Deftones and The Get Up Kids as their prime examples.
A replacement has been found for Escape The Fate on the Bullet For My Valentine tour after all. Britain's Rise To Remain is to open the evening. This fivesome from London has been earning its stripes on the live circuit since 2008, thanks to tours with Trivium and Shadows Fall and festivals like Download, Sonisphere and Graspop 2010. They describe themselves as melodic metal with elements of trash and rock. Those who have been paying attention will recognize singer Austin Dickinson, as the son of Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, of course.
