Quirky indie-pop sensation plays in AB!
The mischievous girls of the quirky French indie-pop duo Brigitte debuted in 2011 with ‘Et vous, tu m’aimes’, an album that immersed them in platinum twice. A year later they bagged the prestigious Victoire de la Musique for ‘Groupe Révélation Scène’ with their deliciously contrary retro-pop, what landed them a hard-won spot at the top of the French-language pop circuit.
After ‘Encore’, filled with idiosyncratic covers of the likes of Metronomy, Johnny Hallyday and George Michael, the lively ladies are ready for own work again. We may expect the fresh issue in the fall of ’14, with a whopping tour including a new, long-awaited, stop in Brussels near the end.
