Ode to the magnus opus of Mould's band Sugar
The album ‘Copper Blue’, that celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, meant the big breakthrough for band Sugar in 1992. Their debut was then immediately hailed Album of the Year by British mag NME. All songs were written by former Hüsker Dü frontman Bob Mould, who also produced the album together with Lou Giordano, known from his studio work with the aforementioned Hüsker Dü but also The Lemonheads and The Smithereens.
In order to add lustre to this anniversary Bob Mould and band will present the album live in its entirety. A lesson in pure music history.
