I Am My Mother, their/their youngest beguiling folk chanson album

Black Sea Dahu is primarily Switzerland's Janine Cathrein and her tight-knit, subtle talent team. After White Creatures, they have now finished I Am My Mother. The music can be called folk chanson, but is very compelling, orchestral, often like a soundtrack in sound or approach. With a lot of empathy, acceptance, and reconciliation between the ugly and the sublime as themes. 'In my world, 1+1=2 doesn't exist! It's not that simple. Things are not just sums and I try to explain that in my music.' So says Janine, who is clearly especially in love with that music. Those who eagerly listen along will hear that with endearment!
