Exclusive club show in exchange for two old phones
Black Box Revelation plays an exclusive concert for anyone recycling 2 old phones
Earlier this year, Black Box Revelation toured Europe with their sixth album Poetic Rivals. Some claim that this represents the band in its purest form, featuring the pounding drums of Dries Van Dijck and the thundering guitars and screaming vocals of Jan Paternoster.
Following their glorious concert tour, the duo will play an exclusive show in the AB Club on 28 January for those who recycle two old phones. In collaboration with Recupel and AB, the band hopes to collect as many old mobiles and smartphones as possible.
How do I trade my old devices in for a concert ticket?
Drop your old devices off at AB or send them in by post. Find out all about it here.
Why recycle?
Whether or not there’s noise coming from our stage, we get the message loud and clear: the planet is in trouble. We’re gradually exhausting our supplies of metals and minerals, so where are we going to get our raw materials? One answer lies in our old smartphones, as they contain many valuable materials. There are around 1.5 million old mobile phones in Belgium. Coincidentally, Recupel has a talent for dismantling mobiles and recycling metals and minerals from them. So, it’s time to say goodbye to your old belongings and enjoy a very special concert in exchange.
