Around the turn of the century, Birdy Nam Nam proved the record player to be a real instrument... and that you can have a pretty exciting party with 4 of them and just as many DJs. On their untitled debut they mostly still grafted their turntablism on downtempo hip-hop, but on their latest album ‘Manual For A Successful Rioting’ they go electro and focus on the dancefloor. Yuksek and Justice's prime production will certainly have something to do with that.
