The legendary rock band of the 2000s is returning to Belgium!
Billy Talent are back, ready to rock Brussels! The quartet have just announced the addition of new European dates to their international tour for next summer, including a visit to Brussels! The legendary rock band of the 2000s are back at the AB!
Formed in Ontario in 1993 under the name Pezz, before renaming themselves Billy Talent in 1999, the Canadian band has established itself as an alternative rock stalwart, building their success around powerful tracks such as 'Red Flag' and 'Fallen Leaves'. In 2003, the band released their eponymous debut studio album, taking a purely punk rock artistic direction. It was an instant success, thanks in particular to the singles "Try Honesty", "The Ex" and "Nothing to Lose". Benjamin Kowalewicz, Ian D'Sa, Jonathan Gallant and Aaron Solowoniuk continued to build on their success, releasing a string of albums up until 2016. "Afraid of Heights" is their latest album in collaboration with Aaron, who is battling a degenerative disease. Joined by Jordan Hastings, it took six years for the band to get back on track with a new album, "Crisis of Faith", released in 2022. A return to their roots, faithful to the music of their beginnings but not afraid to explore new horizons. Following on from this, Billy Talent decided to release a live album, "Live at Festhalle Frankfurt". Produced by Ian D'Sa and mixed by Eric Ratz, it is the first live album since "666", released in 2007. Recorded last year at the iconic German venue, it features 21 tracks spanning the band's entire career. Billy Talent announces an explosive reunion with their Belgian fans, all guitars out. Hold on tight, it's going to hurt.
