Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Bill Murray and AB are certainly already fans of this band infected by Beach Boys, The Shangri-La’s and The Ronettes. Nostalgia certainly has the upper hand with US West Coast residents Best Coast but, due to their injection of nineties indie pop, they are well suited to generation-mates like Vivian Girls and Dum Dum Girls. Their debut ‘Crazy For You’ – with 13 songs to be heard in barely a half hour – is bursting with love songs like ‘When I’m With You’, ‘Boyfriend’ or the title track ‘Crazy For You’, all stunningly sung by songstress Bethany Cosentino. More importantly: ‘Crazy For You’ received heaps of highly praising reviews worldwide:

Support act will be Leeds' trio Sky Larkin. Their two-part album 'Kaleide' was released this summer and it again sounded unpretentious, with a starring role for singer Katie Harkin once more. NME – who rewarded them with a 8/10 – wrote of it:“Brilliant”. The Evening Standard kept their end up too: “The sound of a band on the verge of brilliance… They’ve crammed more energy and ideas into 12 tracks than most bands manage in a lifetime”.
