The Lotto Arena, the Sportpaleis, a gigantic tent at Rock Werchter, even the main stage on the foremost field of Pukkelpop, Bazart has fully filled them all! After the single ‘Goud’ was released in 2015, things all went really fast for the Dutch-language band. Their debut album ‘Echo’ won a number of prizes and in ‘Het Begin Voorbij’, the documentary that followed, we were able to take a look inside the studio and could follow the not always clear creation process of their second album ‘2’. On this second album to be released via PIAS we find, amongst other things, the single ‘Grip (Omarm me)’ and the recent ‘Onder Ons’ feat. Eefje de Visser, both of which have become integral parts of national radio airplay. In spite of these enormous successes, Bazart has not forgotten where they come from; they played in the AB Club for the very first time in 2015 and they later did that three times more in the Main Hall of AB. It seemed overly obvious to the band that, for an exclusive intimate concert, they should return to AB, the place where the big breakthrough began.
