Resurrection of British post-hardcore legend (+ new LP!)
Grungy post-hardcore from England’s Ipswich, and owner of a whopping cult-status. Basement had put out two phenomenal longplayers since 2009, ‘I Wish I Could Stay here’ and ‘Colourmeinkindness’, before pulling the plug in late ‘12. Their steadily growing following of fans was left forlorn, with anthems like ‘Crickets Throw Their Voice’, ‘Faded’, ‘Covet’ and ‘Whole’…
Until late January ’14, when (with a dry “Hi” and a series of tour dates) Basement announced their reunion – with the three song long EP ‘Further Sky’ as forerunner to a third album. That album is currently in the making, once again with producer Sam Pura (The Story So Far, Balance And Composure).
