- 11:00 - 12:00 I Mindful Morning Moment: Sound Healing (FULLY BOOKED)
We start the week by taking a moment for ourselves during a Sound Healing session. Sound Healing is a form of meditation that uses instruments, music, certain tones, and sonic vibrations to restore the balance of your body and mind.
- 14:00 - 14:20 I Spoken word performance with Muntpunt X Michiko
In partnership with Muntpunt, we have organised an afternoon around the book Ode aan de Verwondering, written by Caroline Pauwels with illustrations by Gerda Dendooven and poems by Bart Moeyaert, for the 1 stad, 19 boeken project. For this performance, we will spend a moment considering the here and now, in the middle of Brussels Park in the heart of the city, where we will witness how Michiko turns Ode aan de Verwondering into a wonderful spoken word performance. Michiko (they/them) is a performance artist in spoken word and contemporary movement, based in Antwerp. Their name stands for child of the way. As they follow their self-made path with obstacles and growth, they write down the unspoken but recognized aspects of life. Their work is inspired by lyrical text and theatrical poetry.
Age: all ages. Participation is free, no registration.
