Aurélie Saada will present her first solo album Bomboloni
After 13 years of joy on the road with the duo Brigitte, the French-Tunesian singer Aurélie Saada is delighted to present her first solo album 'Bomboloni' on Friday 3 March at the AB - Ancienne Belgique in Brussels.
'Bomboloni' means beignet in Italian and Tunisian. A word that is eager, joyful, rich in memories and refers to Aurélies roots. 'Bomboloni' is an intimate and sunny album with themes as family, motherhood but also resilience, love and break-ups. A record with orchestral allure, on which strings and brass beautifully merge with guitar and piano.
In 2020, Aurélie wrote and performed the songs for the documentary film about adoption "C'est toi que j'attendais". She also got behind the camera herself for her first film "ROSE", released in 2021, which won several awards worldwide (Locarno, Hong-Kong, Jerusalem...) and for which she also wrote the soundtrack.
Her first opus 'Bomboloni' marks both her return to the forefront of the music scene and a return to her roots. From now on, Saada will write her own story, separate from the French duo Brigitte. In late January 2023, Aurélie Saada, surrounded by her five musicians, will bring her sunny and characterful record 'Bomboloni' to Brussels on 3 March at the Ancienne Belgique. Not to be missed!
'Bomboloni' was released on 28 October by Sony Music and is available on all streaming platforms via this link.
