‘one of this year’s most promising new singer-songwriters.’ Pitchfork
The debut album ‘If Only There Was a River’ by Kansas City-born LA-resident Anna St. Louis was released in the autumn of 2018 and it was swamped with rave reviews. For this album, she asked Kyle Thomas (King Tuff) and Kevin Morby to be her producers. The result is a collection of nostalgic songs in which the influences of artists like Loretta Lynn, John Fahey and Townes Van Zandt clearly shine through. Ideal music for the intimate setting of the AB Salon.
