Ana Lua Caiano is a singer-songwriter, producer and one-woman performer who refreshingly fuses elements from traditional Portuguese music with electronica and hip hop. In her melodies she uses choirs, harmonies and canons, which she boosts with synthesizers, beat machines and sounds from everyday life. Her lyrics reflect personal and social experiences and her style is engaging. With a synthesizer, a loop station, a microphone, a bass drum and other percussion instruments, she creates overlapping loops that take you to different sound layers and atmospheres. As a DIY enthusiast, of course she also makes her own videos and covers. Her debut EP 'Cheguei Tarde a Ontem' was very well received internationally and was followed by 'Se dançaré só depois' in 2023, with which she toured Portugal and Europe.
