Final show in the theatre tour by the makers of 'Come Home' and 'The King'.
In 2010, suddenly all doors opened for Amatorski. The foursome's original sound was detected during the final of Humo's Rock Rally. Their mini-debut ‘Same Stars We Shared’ was warmly received right from the start and ‘Come Home’ and ‘The King’ took over the radio waves on a wide range of stations.
Filmic, David Lynch,... Those who got to know Amatorski's music over the last few years quickly made these associations. Many young filmmakers were attracted to Amatorski's world too. That was clear from the contents of the band's mailbox. So Amatorski decided to go work with all of that young film talent. Together they created a programme in which music and image seamlessly blend. Short films where Amatorski's music serves as soundtrack, or images that have been made for the band's songs.
Until the show you can sustain yourself with ‘Tbc’, Amatorski's brand new album that at the same time heralds a change in direction. RifRaf about the album: “‘Tbc’ fascinatingly combines the dreaminess of The Cranes and the warmth of The Cinematic Orchestra with the trip-hop of Portishead and the beautiful, gentle naivety of múm.”
