Flanked by a flock of pedigree musicians and with an unbelievable flair, Akua Naru breathes new life into hip-hop as a critical medium & live happening à la The Roots, Erykah Badu & D’Angelo.

‘… The Blackest Joy’, her third longplayer, is planned for the spring of 2018 and the video of forerunner ‘My Mother’s Daughter’ is a visual homage to “black womanhood on the African continent and in the diaspora”.
