On Monday 6 May, Poppunt and AB are organising a chat with The Gaslamp Killer in Huis 23. Admittance is free of charge but you have to register to attend.

The Gaslamp Killer is one of the most celebrated DJs of the moment. This protégé of beats-wizard Flying Lotus is soaring high peaks internationally. He has now released his debut album 'Breakthrough', which contains collaborations with the likes of Gonjasufi, Adrian Younge and Deadalus. "A formidable and fascinating debut by the Californian turntablist', according to the BBC. Think eclectic hip-hop beats, funk, dub and a good dose of electronica.

Basically, the ideal guest for a chat in the sofa of Huis 23! About his first steps as DJ, his collaborations with Flying Lotus and Gonjasufi, his productions and inspirations… All of this led by good friend and DJ 'grand cru' Lefto! There is also time for all your questions afterwards.

Admittance is free of charge, as always, but you do have to register. We'll be starting at 6:00pm on the dot, so be there on time. Register via lukas@poppunt.be.
