Florida inhabitants A Day to Remember's new album was released on 16 November. ‘What Separates Me From You’ is the title already and ‘All I Want’ is the first single from the album. ADTR have a superb way of mixing post-hardcore with sticky-sweet pop-punk melodies such as could also be found on their previous album ‘Homesick’ (on the Victory label, see also: Silverstein and Aiden). They were also a highlight of the Bring Me The Horizon tour in a seething AB in November 2009. We're certainly looking forward to the return of one of our favourite live-bands to the AB.
We'll be opening with the post-hardcore of Sweden's Adept. Just recently they were one of the highlights of Eurosonic and again verified Sweden as one of the major export lands in that commodity. Where melody and hardcore meet.
More post-hardcore, this time from San Diego with Pierce The Veil. ‘Selfish Machines’ is their second album and was released by Equal Vision (see also: Chiodos). There is an American tour with Bring Me The Horizon and A Day To Remember planned for 2011. So they'll be touring the European halls with the latter first.
Two years ago Bayside shared an AB stage with New Found Glory. Their new album ‘Killing Time’ will be in stores on February 22. Once again an album full of fine sing-along pop-punk.
