He might just be one of the best-kept secrets in the Belgian pop and rock scene. The chances are quite high that you've already heard Jan Bas in action without realizing it. He lent his voice to the soundtracks of TV productions such as 'Safety First (The Movie)', Jens Dendoncker’s 'Liefde', and 'Paradise City'. He also toured through cultural centers (CC's) with projects like '27 years Nirvana Unplugged' & 'Paradise City'.

Together with producer Mario Goossens, he secluded himself over the past 2 years to refine his own songs and record them in the studio, surrounded by talented musicians like Douglas Firs, Pete Shoulder, Karel Van Mileghem, David Poltrock, and Birsen Uçar. The final mix is being done by Greg Gordon, known for his work with Nick Cave, Triggerfinger, Oasis, etc.

His love for soul, roots, and heartland Americana lay the foundation for Jan's own, unique sound that reminds of Richard Hawley, Leon Bridges, and youngBruce Springsteen.
