AB celebrates fresh international talent on Europe Day
On the birth date of the European Union (9 May 1950), Liveurope turns out a true showcase to present the best of what Europe has to offer in terms of music. Supporting promising young bands and creating concert opportunities within the old continent, that's what AB wants to invest in over the coming years, together with the twelve participating partners (from 12 different countries) and under the flag of Liveurope. So on May 9, following an afternoon of debates on music and Europe, AB, as co-ordinator of Liveurope, will pay special attention to the solid momentum that has been established since the launch (10 Oct ‘14).
These concerts will be recorded by Euroradio and streamed by ABtv.
Liveurope very proudly presents:
BRNS (be)
Brilliant Brussels collective BRNS worked their way up to become one of the mainstays of the new wave of 'musically impressive Belgians' last year with debut ‘Patine’. Their recipe? A mercilessly tight rhythm section, pumping basslines and criss-crossing layers of organ and guitar that are bound by crazy choral song. And if we really do want to paste labels references on the mishmash of musical styles that so typifies BRNS then we'll go for Alt-J, Yeasayer and Battles!
