Son Lux is the intriguing electro-pop project of Ryan Lott. Mainly known to a broader audience since their breakthrough album Lanterns, from late 2013. In June he released his fourth longplayer, one that continues in the same vein as the layered, organic sounds of its predecessors.

Live, Lott plays with a drummer and a guitarist. A combination that is a big hit with the (inter)national press as well as the general public, as was evidenced by the brilliant set that they played last year in the AB Club. A wonderful combination of intimate and explosive, il faut le faire! 

Prior to the concert, we will have the band converse with Belgium’s own grandmaster of the better indietronica.  Arne - Styrofoam - Van Petegem, acclaimed musician and producer, will coax out Son Lux’ many musical secrets. We’re talking about, amongst other things, their influences and sources of inspiration, the production process and the translation from album to live. Basically, everything you ever wanted to know!
