Recyclart presents in AB: [sic] + RaaskalBOMfukkerZ

“Finally, insanity”! With these famous words from Recyclart boss Dirk Seghers, in blew the wonderful news that the Dutch, mildly mad duo RaaskalBOMfukkerZ would be heading down to AB. So insanity it will be! Inspired by beings from planet Toz, Dr. Snoodaard and De Formulator roll right over you with an energetic, costumed jumble of spoken word, rap, poetry and modern dance in a collage of sound constructions, samples, flipped beats and synths.

Call it cabaret, avant-garde or musical Dadaïsm but we'll just stick to top-shelf nonsense!

None of all that with Belgium's [sic]! They head into the competition with a deliciously distorted bass, unfettered drums and three horny sounding saxes... for a portion of overwhelming, contemporary, sax-driven free-jazz, but then upon a rock foundation. A not-so-apparent description for deliciously brooding, instrumental yet not-so-apparent music. Second longplayer ‘Ray’ contains 21 minutes of sweltering, avant-gardish jazz-rock that leaves a deep impression upon life and limb!
